I know. You were waiting with bated breath, right?
Ha.
I know you’re in the middle of a million things – work, prepping for Thanksgiving, travel, and life in general. It didn’t feel right to fill your reader with endless gift guides.
Especially since my friends’ are just so damn good. Grace absolutely killed it this year. Jess, Liz, Jess (Ann Kirby), and Julia have published a ton lately, and I’m eagerly waiting for Victoria’s (here’s her 2016 one).
That said, I do have a few thoughtful recommendations of my own. I also have this little book, and these cards I created with my friend Laura.
Enter – A Hitha Holiday. My name literally means ‘good’, and that’s exactly the holiday I want you to have.
There are 6 guides already live – mom and dad, him and her, little ones and older kids. And while I’m excited to share them with you, I’m more excited about two more exclusive offerings.
The first are Impact Cards. My friend Laura and I collaborated to create these beautiful, fun cards that help you gift a donation to your loved one. It’s much nicer than forwarding a donation receipt, and easier than filling out a blank card.
It’s a continuation of the NO.GIFTS journey, and one that can actually be handed to someone and opened.
Given the state of the country and the world right now, donations to worthy organizations are at the top of my list of things to give. These cards will let your loved ones open something up in addition to your impact.
$1 from every card will be going to Heifer International, to fund a woman’s small business.
I really love these cards, and I hope you will too.
The second is my own book. How To Pack. Remember that?
I’m immensely proud of this book – the content, the design, and that it does transform how people pack and travel.
It also makes a great gift, for just about anyone – travel enthusiasts, people who are impossible to shop for, or even a last minute hostess gift (the book looks great on a coffee table).
To encourage you all to buy as many copies as possible (#shameless), I’m offering some exclusive gifts for purchases of 1, 3, 5, or 10 books. All the details are here.
Buy one. Buy 10. I’m forever indebted to your support.
I hope that Impact Cards, How To Pack, and A Hitha Holiday help ease the burden and stress of holiday shopping this year.
Mostly, I hope you have a wonderful holiday and a restful break. You’ve earned it.
