What a week.
I’ve been overwhelmed (in the best possible way) with your messages, comments, e-mails, and small gifts in response to my miscarriage. I’m eternally grateful to have you in my corner, and can’t thank you enough for the love and support you’ve shown me. It’s been a tough two weeks, but I’m optimistic for the future – for myself, and for every woman who has suffered as well.
It’s also been a wonderful week. Rho started preschool, i.e. two hours of supervised fun with kids his age, on Tuesday. I personally enjoyed the preschool prep for the shopping, and bought him a new backpack (that also gives back), personalized labels for his belongings, and a new sippy cup.
And there was his new fall wardrobe. I couldn’t help myself.
I also celebrated my dear friend Keren‘s birthday, attended the launch of a necessary new book, and tore through Hillary Clinton and Katy Tur’s books. Reviews forthcoming.
This weekend is a chill one – a book festival at Rho’s preschool, a BBQ with friends, and Sunday football. And a batch of my (somewhat) famous chili.
’tis the season, after all.
- It’s Britney. Nevertheless, she persisted.
- Dorota is the best facialist – ever. Thanks to her, my skin has thrived with this cream, this oil, and giving myself a facial massage with this twice a week. I’m also going to make this facial spray that  Victoria swears by.
- Joanna rounded up the most amazing embroidered pieces your closet needs this fall. Goodbye, money.
- This article sums exactly how I feel about Hillary Clinton and the media.
- I’m packing this fleece, these boots, and this crossbody for Colorado next week.
- I always look forward to Grace’s reading lists. And I can vouch for Evelyn Hugo, Party Girls, and Startup. Check out her wonderful book club page if you need more recommendations!
Posts from the week…
- I make this once a week. Sometimes, twice.
- This is why my closet is so organized.
- My sartorial security blanket. I think it may become yours, too.
- This is the best $25 you will spend for your upcoming trip. Trust.
- What a perfect day in Athens looks like
- This book offers a necessary reminder that there’s more that unites us than divides us.
Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
