Let’s talk gifts. ’tis the season, after all.
I admit that I’m not the most creative gift giver. I rely heavily on donations to my loved ones’ favorite charities (hence creating Impact Cards), or bring over the typical candle/bottle of wine/book.
Mine, if we’re being honest.
So when a Knack box arrived for me (aptly called ‘On The Go’), I was delighted by everything I found inside.
Literally, everything.
There’s the slim book light that easily slips on paperbacks and hard-cover books alike (currently attached to this one). There’s the Moleskine I was prepared to purchase to set up my 2018 bullet journal.
My favorite item, however was this tumbler. I’ve taken to filling it with hot lemon water and apple cider vinegar before I go to bed, and sip it in the morning while reading in bed.
This little ritual makes my 5:30 a.m. alarm somewhat survivable.
It’s rare that I love every single item in a subscription box or a gift. But I love (and use!) every single item in my Knack box.
I truly loved everything about the experience – the items themselves, the simple and elegant wrapping, and the personalization on every box.
The only downside? The crinkly white paper pieces that seems to go everywhere.
Literally, everywhere.
They have a gift for virtually everyone on your list – for the constitutional scholar that also loves whiskey, the woman who wants to make the world a better place, and the one who prefers savory to sweet.
The themed book sets, however, are my favorite. This one is perfect for my father, and this one is ideal for my incredible cousin who loves cycling as much as she does practicing medicine.
And I kind of want this one for myself.
If you’re more talented at putting together a perfect gift than I am, you can create a custom box from Knack’s hand-picked items. There are candles made by refugee women, a classic boat tote mostly made from upcycled materials, and cult favorites like Herbivore and Rifle Paper Co.
No more excuses for not sending the perfect gift. Except for maybe picking the perfect one.
Don’t believe me? Try it yourself and get 10% off with the code PALEPU10 (valid through January 31, 2018).
Might I suggest kicking off the year with a mindful box, or the aptly named ‘New Year, New You‘?
Forget them. I’d go with the Smart Girls Have More one.
Because that’s exactly who you are.
This post was sponsored by Knack. All opinions are, as always, my own.
