Snowy nights, for me, call for cups of cocoa and a television show marathon (the husband and I are in the middle of The West Wing and Fringe, presently).  However, when you’re out and about a cozy restaurant fits the bill.  Sonia and I met up for a long-anticipated dinner last Wednesday at the Vinatta Project, where we dined on elegant takes of comfort food and custom cocktails based on our palate.  The restaurant is the Meatpacking District outpost of the famed Mulberry Project, a delightful restaurant/bar in Little Italy that is known for its custom cocktails.  My blood orange-cayenne-vodka cocktail paired perfectly with the sliders, truffle fries, and brussels sprouts we dined on that evening.  I look forward to returning and trying everything else on the menu – and at the bar.
