A little known fact about my job – there are three weeks every year where I’m completely, 1o0% consumed by it thanks to a conference.
This was one of those weeks. Â So pressing publish on three posts, while running around like a madwoman, was one hell of a feat. Â I am squeezing in some fun time – double dinner dates (one with Julia and her husband, one with SKP-squared), a couple of non-pharmaceutical meetings.
And most importantly, finding a new apartment. Â We’re staying in our building, but upgrading our much-loved and overcrowded alcove studio for a proper two-bedroom. Â While I’m just a bit sad to part ways with our first home together, I’m excited for more space. Â And most importantly, my own bathroom. Â We’re ending the week with a restful, computer-less overnight at my parents’ house. Â I haven’t seen my mom since November, so I’m excited to hang with her (and eat her incredible food).
We also booked a BIG trip to celebrate our 30th birthdays this summer. Â More on that later. Â Let’s get to more important things – like the links.
- Vogue.com is always a treat for the eyes, and I thoroughly enjoyed this interview with SJP (please do more of these!) and a tour of Karlie Kloss’ apartment. Â Also, I have never wanted to live in the West Village more.
- BuzzFeed hits the nail on the head with 27 shocking and unexpected facts you learn in your twenties.
- M.M. LaFleur‘s CEO is penning a weekly business column on their blog, and it’s a MUST READ. Â Given how good her packing and travel advice is, I’m confident that everyone can learn a lot from Sarah’s posts.
- The news on the missing Malaysian Airlines flight has me simultaneously enthralled and saddened.
- I just started Misty Copeland’s memoir, thanks to her Top Shelf feature on ITG. Â A beautiful story on struggle, determination, and grace.
- I need to get myself to a craft store to make these amazing rings. Â Like, yesterday.
And be sure to sign up for your first Quarterly box AND enter the giveaway! Â I’m 100% honest when I say that it will transform the way you pack. Â Because how many maxi dresses you need should NOT be the biggest concern for your summer vacations. Â Right? Â Right.
