With the wedding a little over three months away (eek!), I’ve had to get it together on several fronts.
The most challenging one, however, is the workouts.
It’s not that I don’t enjoy a little endorphin rush here and there, but work and life just gets in the way and I don’t have time to do it. Â Plus, knowing that I’ll drop all excess flab after two weeks in India (it just happens, I can’t explain it) only lowers my motivation to sweat it out at the gym.
I digress. Â I have started working out again (mostly to keep my temper and moods in check), and it’s been paying off. Â I’ve also had to force myself into a new routine, which was more painful than my sore arms and abs.
But Tracy Anderson’s 30 Day Method was the perfect way to get back on the bandwagon.
I’ve been a Tracy Anderson fan for a while, but have fell in and out of a workout regime with heavy work and wedding planning. Â Filled with workouts (3 sculpting and 2 cardio) and recipes, this bootcamp-in-a-book was a necessary, no-brainer guide back to exercise. Â I skimmed over the diet section and incorporated some of her recipes into my diet, but luckily have been eating healthfully (even cutting down my Taco Bell intake) for quite some time. Â The CD accompanying the book has all the workouts, and I photocopy my current sequence to take with me when I’m on the road.
This method is no joke, but has been the only thing that has worked on toning my trouble areas. Â I highly recommend it to any bride, bridesmaid, wedding guest, or woman wanting to get back into shape. Â There is no easy way to get back into shape, but I’ve found that eating well with 30 minutes of exercise (and drinking an EBOOST pre-workout) can go a long way for getting results.
If you want to try out Tracy Anderson’s Method before committing to the book, click here for links to every webisode she’s recorded, plus a recommended order in which to do them. Â The Iron Man legs routine and the arms webisode are my favorites.
Happy workout!
