This picture is from a couple of weeks ago, on the busiest day I’ve had in recent memory. Â I started my day at the 9/11 Memorial breakfast (seated a table away from Mayor Bloomberg and Christiane Amanpour), headed to the IFB Conference, saw Thomas Friedman speak at the Russian Tea Room, met up with blogger friends (and my NYFW roomie Meg), and finished with dinner with a good friend.
Whew.
In any case, this outfit had to be professional, stylish, and most importantly comfortable.  I love the high-fashion feel of this Ann Taylor dress.  The trench kept me dry from the torrential downpour during the day, and sparkly heels (that are shockingly comfortable) and a statement necklace jushed up the look.  Katy was sweet to snap these pictures of me during a break at IFB.
