This dress is brilliant.
It’s the perfect combination of flattering and stylish – a fashion Holy Grail, if you will. I love the metal details – and the fact that they’re snaps that let you wear the dress as a mini, or the top with shorts and a skirt.
It’s from my friend Morgan’s brilliant line, BURU White Label. Everything she designs and curates is for the new expecting and new mom in mind – machine washable, suitable for before/during/after pregnancy, and nursing friendly. I lived in her cape all winter, and I’ve been wearing this dress all summer. For the fall, I have my eye on this matching skirt and top.
Another thing I’ve been wearing nonstop? These flats, from Sam Edelman. They’re buttery soft with a padded sole, and the tan is the perfect neutral for summer. It also happens to match my new circle bag from Sole Society perfectly.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to be wearing this entire outfit for the rest of the month. And probably through September as well.
