Confession – the only time I shop in actual stores (with the exception of Zara and H&M) is when I’m traveling. We spent our last day in Iceland wandering around Reykjavik – and in and out of many shops. I wanted a classic cold weather piece in Icelandic wool to take home with me, but was discouraged as most sweaters were chunky, itchy, and unflattering. We walked into what we assumed would be just another wool shop, but were pleasantly surprised to find stylish, classic pieces constructed from soft, warm wool. This coat-sweater is perfect for the fall days that are crisp enough to require outerwear but too warm for a coat, and versatile enough to go with casual and professional clothes. It immediately sharpened up my simple outfit of leggings and tank top, and I happily wore the sweater out of the store and straight to our last dinner in Iceland.
