I wear this outfit a lot.
I’ve worn it for on-air appearances. I’ve worn it to meetings. I’ve even reached for it for a girls’ dinner during the cold spell we had two weeks ago.
It’s a solid outfit.
For my body type, high-waisted, wide-legged pants work best for crop tops. These Old Navy ones are solid – the fit is great, even though the fabric is a bit stiff. I love their white ones more – they’re significantly softer and are light for the hottest summer days.
I’m not one to splurge on trendy items (crop tops, off-the-shoulder pieces, rompers), but have been loving Rent The Runway Unlimited to try them out. This Amanda Uprichard top (as well as this Likely blouse and Joie romper) made up my first order, which I’m still wearing a month later.
I’ll be sad to see this top go – but I’m excited to get my hands on this skirt and a clutch that was made for me.
