I love a good family business (obviously – I work with my father in our pharmaceutical company), so I loved interviewing the mother-daughter duo of Phillips House, a fine jewelry line that I’m absolutely obsessed with. Â Not only do they design incredible pieces, this duo are constantly jetsetting from their Miami base. Â Tons of great tips and tricks in here, plus I’m coveting all of their luxurious travel essentials. Â

I would consider myself an organized packer. I always keep a suitcase packed with my essentials (cosmetics, blow dryer, comb, etc.) just in case I have to take an impromptu trip. This way, all I have to do is pack my clothes each time. I like to use a roller bag that has different compartments so I can keep everything organized. I always keep a small zippered Chanel pouch inside my suitcase so that if I have to check my suitcase at the last minute, I can pull out anything I want to keep close.
I wouldn’t say I am the type that runs to the gate – it’s too stressful! I typically arrive a little early at go to the Admirals Club or Presidents’ Club; it’s nice to find a quiet spot in a hectic airport. This also gives me a chance to fill up my reusable water bottle with filtered water (I prefer it over a water fountain). I carry an herbal tea bag in my purse so I can pop it in the bottle before boarding my flight.
On the flight, I enjoy reading on my iPad.  Right now, I’m in love with Inferno by Dan Brown. His books are always page-turners. When picking seats, I always go for the aisle; I prefer to not have to disturb anyone if I want to get up. I try to carry protein bars since they make for a quick and easy snack.
My packing essentials include a Moncler travel jacket (makes a great jacket, pillow and blanket, plus it folds up into nothing), Chanel glasses, a rich cream, a foldable stand for my iPhone/iPad, mints, a comb, a travel wallet, nail file, magnifying mirror, and eye hydration drops.

I am somewhere in between a minimalist and an overpacker. I always pack one or two extra outfits just in case (you never know what the day will bring!). I always pack as outfits though, not separates. I never use a branded suitcase because I would never want someone to be tempted to steal it.  Also, we travel so much that our suitcase tends to get worn out.  I always travel with a large handbag – currently, a Bottega bag – so that I can carry miscellaneous items along the way. I like to pack well in advance but since my schedule can be hectic at times, I don’t always get that luxury.
I am usually running, but now with the TSA PreCheck (thanks to Global Entry), it makes things so much easier!  The Admirals’ Club is relaxing if we have time to spare. And no matter what, I always have to stop and grab a huge bottle of water to have on the plane. I’ve literally almost missed flights running to get a bottle of water!
During flights, I’ll generally watch something on my iPad and get my fix of celebrity trash reading. I love watching movies on a plane; it’s the only time I can sit down and focus. When I’m on the ground, I’m almost always working. As for seat location, I hate to feel claustrophobic, so I am definitely an aisle person.  And I love a fresh salad if I can get my hands on one (although finding a good one is not always so easy)!
My packing essentials include socks, a great scarf, hand sanitizer, a large bottle of water, a hooded cashmere sweater, a great pair of headphones, face blotting pads, Boostcase for my iPhone, Louis Vuitton travel wallet, Roger Vivier ballet flats, Comme des Garcons makeup bag, Clinique lip treatment, and a large Phillips House pouch for my extra jewelry.
