This outfit encompasses all my favorite items for the season – a velvet blazer, mustard slacks, and my favorite jewelry pieces (some acquired minutes before I took these pictures). Â I went to the trunk show of fabulous jewelry designer (and friend) Alanna Bess last night, and selected some of her latest pieces for family members (and for myself – note the ring and cuff). Â When donning a bright hue like mustard, I like to keep the rest of the outfit neutral; a crisp white blouse, a structured gold clutch, and leopard heels (my idea of neutral) showcased the most important part of the outfit – the bling.
