While autumn is my favorite season, I’ve never been a major fan of Halloween. I’d much rather take my nephews trick-or-treating instead of donning a too-short costume and getting jostled around in a crowded bar. I am, however, a massive fan of discounted candy. To add some autumn cheer to my apartment, I put together a simple display of my favorite sweets and fall gourds in my cake stand (an item I have used constantly since I purchased it). With the addition of small pumpkins and some ears of Indian corn, our home will be perfectly prepped for fall.
