I’ve been a fan of mustard as a kid, from the moment I received my first classical Indian dance costume (mustard silk with a purple border). Â I’m thrilled that the hue has popped up in both clothing and accessories, and plan to pair my mustard pieces with monochromatic hues all season long. Â Mustard pants with my new blouse (thank you Macy’s + Karl Lagerfeld) and high heeled pumps combine into a polished look ideal for internal meetings. Â The lace socks will add the perfect hint of color peeking over Jeffrey Campbell booties, and paired with a navy floral dress – an unfussy, pretty weekend outfit.
