Megan is one of my first Twitter/Tumblr-turned-real-life friends – and me and my Google Reader are better off for it. Â We bonded over the casting of Hunger Games, Wawa, bacon, and Pretty Little Liars. Â When she’s not penning her hilarious blog, she’s running Style Girlfriend, which helps men dress better (one tie at a time).
My favorite Christmas present…this year
This year, I got my favorite Christmas present before December 25 even rolled around. A friend from high school sent me this totally rad Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles t-shirt in the mail this past week, and I. am. in. heaven.
Like many peers from my generation, the cartoon turtles gifted in the martial arts were a pretty big deal to me as a kid – occupying a place of importance somewhere above Sonic the Hedgehog but not quite on par with the release of a new Disney movie. My birthday cake for several years was a sheet cake in the shape of nunchuk-throwing Michelangelo. As a joke, my aunt even made me the same cake for my birthday this year. No really, check it out. Twenty-eight years young, and yes fellas, I’m single.
