Is it sad that reader requests have (happily) taken over my editorial calendar? Â I was more than happy to share my go-to travel apps, and today I’m sharing my go-to travel outfit.
Don’t get me wrong. Â I don’t wear this EXACT outfit every time I travel (I wore this when I flew to Chicago yesterday). Â But this ensemble sums up the foundation – skinny pants, a loose blouse, a roomy tote, and comfortable / chic flats. Â Hair up, all the jewelry I want (thank you, TSA PreCheck), and a scarf & fuzzy socks stuffed somewhere in the bag.
I wore this exact outfit a few weeks ago for a whirlwind trip to Dallas – Charlotte – back to NYC and straight to a work dinner. Â While I relied on M.M. LaFleur dresses for my meeting, I stuck with this combo while up in the air to Texas. Â It’s chic without sacrificing comfort, which is my mantra when dressing for nearly any occasion.
Can we talk about this bag for a second? Â I love that every bag purchased feeds 100 children in India – a country (duh) and cause dear to my heart. Â I’m blessed to have been born in the United States, to a family who were able to provide every opportunity and resource I could ever have wanted. Â I could have been born one of the million of Indian children starving every day. Â Toting around this bag reminds me to give back, in every way I can.
I’d love to know – what is your go-to travel outfit? Â Do you have specific items you rely on? Â COMMENT below and let me know!
