I’m a sucker for affordable collections at my favorite retailers.  I outlined my love for Target here, but Kohl’s also holds a soft spot in my heart.  I frequently troll the website for the latest from the LC Lauren Conrad and J.Lo (yes, J.Lo – amazing pieces, totally serious).  And when Megan offered up the chance to attend the Rock and Republic for Kohl’s fashion show with her, it didn’t take much arm twisting (okay, no arm twisting whatsoever) for me to attend.  She had me at Ashlee Simpson – but that’s another story.
I was impressed by the collection – R&R is known for bleached, ripped, and studded denim – but the Kohl’s collection featured well-tailored basics in both dark and vibrant hues. Â The collection also contained great separates – the sequined tops, studded black dresses, and floppy hats caught my eye.
As if I needed yet another collection to take my money. Â Apologies in advance, husband.
