Let’s talk tassels. Â I’ve made no secret of my love for roped, tasseled jewelry in the past – this DIY stands evidence to that.
It’s one of the (many) reasons I love it when 20’s styles are the trend du jour.  Drop waisted dresses, feathered headpieces, long necklaces – I love it all.  (Also, I’m not one of those oooh-Gatsby-came-out-and-now-I-love-the-20s).  Like ancient Egypt and Rome, Taco Bell, imperial Russia, Moleskine notebooks, and the Emmanuel family, I’m nerdishly obsessed with the Jazz Age.  And jewelry, obviously.
So when I spotted this tassel necklace (worn stylishly as a bracelet) on Blair, it was no surprise that none other than Rachel Zoe was the designer behind the piece. Â And the price was just a little rich for my budget.
THANKFULLY another one of my style favorites, Courtney Kerr, has my back.  In her curated collection for BaubleBar lies a flawless tassel necklace, similar to Rachel Zoe’s, but with different crystal detailing and at a SWEET price.  I wore mine to a conference today and was stopped by no less than 5 women asking where the necklace was from.
Moral of the story – go pick up the BaubleBar version.  I also recommend this signet ring and this pave bracelet (been wearing all of them constantly).
