I work from home when I’m not traveling.  Working from home conjures up images of lazing around in pajamas all day – however, I find that a little dressing up goes a long way in terms of productivity.  Also, the sweatpants I wore in Philadelphia to run errands simply won’t cut it in New York City.  A loose blouse cinched around my waist with a stretchy skirt is as comfortable as my beloved ratty BU shorts and my husband’s undershirts, and much more chic.  The right accessories (bright clutch, armful of bangles, statement necklace, nude sandals) transition the look from comfortable clothes to a stylish outfit.
