I never leave home without the following:
- tons of sanitizing towelettes
- a pair of sunglasses that I’m okay with losing
- sneakers (these are great for exploring AND working out)
- at least 1 MM.LaFleur piece
Even on a vacation to Greece, with record-high weather and days filled with exploring ruins and hiking.
MM.LaFleur is basically my security blanket. I’m fine with admitting it.
While our days were spent living our Indiana Jones fantasies and pestering our tour guides with questions, our evenings were far more relaxed – long meals al fresco, drinks at beautiful bars, or dining at one of the cruise’s beautiful restaurants.
Enter the Crawford top. It’s cut beautifully (flatters the good bits, hides the jiggly bits) and the subtle pinstripe works both on and off-duty.
I preferred to pair it with a pair of lacy black shorts and my beloved Encircled jacket, worn unzipped, for dinner in the Plaka in Athens. We ate fresh seafood and drank crisp white wine at Mono, and wandered through the winding streets to meet Lena to shoot some pictures.
That’s the #bloggerlife for you. And if we’re being really honest, I also wore my flats and carried the jacket and heels in my tote as we walked around the Plaka that evening.
Those details aside, I love this outfit for a summer evening. It’s easy, it’s stylish, and it can accommodate the inevitable food baby.
What more can you ask for? (Besides relief for Houston. Have you donated yet?).
