New York got screwed out of a spring this year. Save for a handful of truly beautiful days, we’ve instead spent the summer months either bundled up in coats and trousers, or overheated in loose dresses and sandals.
Lately, the weather has veered to the latter. What I wouldn’t give to wear a pair of jeans and NOT feel like I was stuck in a furnace.
On a particularly muggy day, Victoria and I met up for lunch at Bryant Park Grill and braved the elements to snap some outfit pictures. She wore this gorgeous dress, while I opted for loose silk separates – aka appropriate-to-wear-in-public-pajamas.
I have a feeling I’ll be repeating this outfit often. And continue my shopping spree of silk trousers (I own four pairs now – addicted much?)
