Looking for the best face sunscreen? Look no further.
I discovered the holy grail – Supergoop’s 100% Mineral Smooth & Poreless Matte Screen – earlier this summer, after an indulgent facial at Heyday.
I haven’t stopped wearing it since.
Don’t let the beige tint deceive you – it blends in perfectly with your skin, with no telltale white cast left behind. The sunscreen delivers on its claims. It leaves your skin baby smooth, minimizes your pores, and helps even skin tone.
And hello, SPF 40.
I wear this sunscreen over Supergoop’s oat peptide eye cream, which has been another staple in my morning skincare routine. The cool metal applicator helps depuff my eyes in the morning, and I’ve seen a significant reduction in my undereye circles.
One tube of each has gotten me through the past 2 months. I’m just reaching the end of the matte sunscreen, and the eye cream is about halfway done. So while it’s a little more expensive than other brands ($38 for the face sunscreen, $32 for the eye cream), I think it’s a really good value.
Particularly if it means you wear sunscreen every day, and thus keep your skin healthier and looking younger in the long run.
I’ll be wearing this combination right into fall, and straight through winter (paired with this intense moisturizer and face oil), and again into next spring and summer.
That is, unless Supergoop comes out with something better.
