Our first anniversary was decidedly different than our wedding celebrations (seen here).  We celebrated with a quiet, romantic dinner at Vetri in Philadelphia, and a champagne toast with my parents.  The evening could not have been more different from our wedding reception, down to my outfit.  I swapped the statement jewels and sparkly lengha for a simple pink dress and heels, and my only jewelry was my engagement ring and wedding band.  Though we exchanged gifts weeks earlier (digital versions of the traditional “paper” gifts – new MacBooks), the real gift was sharing an exceptional meal over glasses of prosecco, reminiscing about the past year and sharing goals for the years ahead.  1 anniversary down, countless more to go!
