Jetlag. Â Mountains of work. Â Throw in dinners, brunches, and a select few Faaaaaaashion Week events, and that sums up life right now.
But I’m loving every last groggy minute. Â Even though my suitcase is still lying in the hallway, my body shuts down at approximately 4 pm (only to be roused with a cup of chocolate chili chai), and I have no clue what to wear this week. Â Hint – it may be these tees, paired with leather and sequins and all that jazz. Â You have been warned.
As incredible as Sydney is, there’s nothing like home. Â And nothing like New York.
Let’s dig into this week’s links, shall we?
- Heartbreaking, poignant, and hopeful in one single essay. Â Joanna, thank you for sharing your brother-in-law’s story with us.
- Here’s the best way to wash your wool goods (without spending pricey dry-clean prices!). Â Use my favorite detergent (AND the TSA sized kit)
- Why you shouldn’t (or should, if you were me) date someone who TRAVELS.
- I can’t wait to dive into BJ Novak’s book of essays. Â The trailer had me sold.
- My Valentine’s Day gift to myself has always been something from BaubleBar’s Love collection. Â I have my eye on this ring, to accompany the necklace I purchased last year. Â I also picked up zebra trays in both silver and gold from Lemon Stripes (get 15% off using code SELFLOVE15).
- It’s no secret that I rely on 3FLOZ for the majority of my toiletries purchasing – especially when they add new brands! Â Note – lots of great natural beauty options here as well.
What’s new with you this week? Â Any fun plans this weekend? Â I’d love to know!
