These past few weeks have been a blur of writing, meetings, plans with the husband and friends, baby prep, and sleep. Oh, glorious sleep. I’m going to miss you.
If it weren’t for my growing belly, I would think I’m stuck in Groundhog Day. It’s not bad, though – there are FAR worse days to have to relive.
I’ve been scheduling a few meals with friends each week, which has been great for breaking the winter blues AND ensuring that I don’t end up a sweatpants-clad hermit day after day. I’m excited to be celebrating Grace and the launch of The Stripe tomorrow, and getting out of the city for dinner in CT with Julia, Victoria, and the husbands this weekend.
And sleep, of course. I’ve been told to get as much of it as possible – and I’m happy to heed that advice.
- This soup. I’ve made it three times this month already, and have yet to get sick of it. Stupidly simple and warms your soul. I like to throw in a few cups of spinach or kale and the juice of a lemon.
- Want to step up your iPhone photography game? Victoria handpicked 5 apps to help you do just that.
- How necessary is that annual physical? It’s not, according to my favorite Emmanuel brother.
- What it’s like to date your dad. Few things render me speechless, and this article was one of them.
- This parody of Delta’s seating chart is hysterically true. (h/t to Chelle for sharing it!)
- Parenting tips from Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. You don’t have to be a parent (or soon-to-be) to appreciate the lessons shared in this piece.
- My next Quarterly box is shipping in a couple of weeks! The theme is toiletries, and I’m really excited about the amazing brands we’ve partnered with on the box. I’d love it if you subscribed, if you haven’t yet.
Tomorrow’s Travel Tip is a little different – I look forward to hearing what you think!
