Chocolate chip cookies, without a doubt, are one of the most comforting foods around. Â On a jetlagged afternoon, I poked around the Internet to find a sweets recipe using ingredients I had on hand. Â This fit the bill (I used honey and agave instead of sugar and pulsed Irish oatmeal in my food processor for oat flour), and they were so tasty that I forgot they were vegan and semi-healthy. Â As did my husband and my doormen. Â These cookies are so good, I whipped up another batch this week. Â I recommend using a melon baller to scoop the perfect portion, as these cookies do spread while they bake.
