October is, hands down, my favorite month. While I don’t care for Halloween, I do (over)indulge in pumpkin-flavored foods, happily don coats and boots, and revel in the overlap of baseball postseason and the beginning of football season (and that my beloved Phillies have made the playoffs for the past 5 years). While I can’t control how well my teams play, I can prepare a healthier version of my guilty game-day treat of buffalo wings. I stay pretty true to the buffalo sauce recipe (swapping butter for Earth Balance), but swap chicken for cubed seitan.
