Wedding Tip #1: Paperless Post

I am far from being an active bride.  I abuse the “work is so crazy right now!” excuse like no other…but it’s true.

Anyway, I digress.

My mother and future mother-in-law have taken up planning this wedding as their new jobs, and while I appreciate the help the control freak in me can’t help but to go “AAAAAH!”  After a minor meltdown and bridezilla rant, I am back to normal and immersed in the planning.

First up: the engagement party.

They took care of the location and the food.  I got a photographer (thanks to my friend Deepa’s recommendation), a DJ (thanks to DJ Ravi Jackson), and a cake (thank you Brown Betty).  All that was left to do was invitations.

Thank you, Paperless Post.

Miles above Evite and far easier than having invitations printed and mailed, Paperless Post helped me make a gorgeous invitation, send it out to the ever-growing guest list, and took care of RSVP tracking for me.  The whole process (including adding the details on the wedding website) took about 45 minutes.

I realize that nothing else in planning this wedding will be this easy.  I only wish it was.

Check out Paperless Post.  For invitations/cards for any event.

Because as you grow up, it’s just not right to use Facebook for events anymore.
