Given that most of my family is in health care & life sciences, the technical terms come flying when we get together.
So it’s no shock that my family, when addressing my shopping addiction, diagnosed me with shopaholicism.  It’s a thing, people.  And I have it bad.
The only cure I’ve found is to marry a financially responsible person who forces a strict budget upon you, and reviews all expenses against the budget every week.  Having to justify formerly regular BaubleBar or Shopbop purchases to my husband helped cure said shopping addiction quickly.  But I never lost my love for browsing.
Which makes Pickie so great. Â A personalized, shoppable magazine, it curates your personal interests and preferred shopping websites into a gorgeous platform that makes buying browsing a breeze. Â And it costs nothing to “wishlist” an item – something I do far too frequently.
I also had the pleasure of sharing my summer selections as a Pickie guest editor – go check them out here.
Do you have a shopping problem? Â You can admit it here – this is a safe space :). Â How do you control your spending? Â I’m in desperate need for new tips and tricks, so COMMENT below and let me know!
